Students gain practical experience while learning about the dangers and hazards within a workshop. Students focus on the fundamentals of Design, Layout, and Planning skills; Fabrication, Assembly, and Finishing Skills; Technology, the Environment, and Society; Professional Practice and Career Opportunities.

Students are introduced to various hand and power tools, methods and materials, through 3D printing, sheet metal fabrication and woodworking projects.
